On 23rd April 2025, the Christ King  Church, Phuvkiu, witnessed a joyful and grace-filled occasion with the blessing and inauguration of the newly constructed parish hall. His Excellency Most Rev. James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima, graciously blessed the auditorium, and Fr. Joy Palachuvattil, Provincial Rector of Prabhu Prakash Province Nagpur, had the honour of inaugurating it.
This newly built structure is a multi-purpose auditorium, thoughtfully designed to serve both the school and the parish community, offering a versatile space for various programs, gatherings, and celebrations.
During the felicitation program, heartfelt gratitude was extended to Fr. Shyjesh George, the Parish Priest, and Fr. Akhil Ignacious, along with the entire parish community, for their dedicated efforts and meticulous execution of the project.
On the same day, during the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, 41 children and youth received the Sacrament of Confirmation,a spiritually enriching and memorable moment for the entire community.
The event concluded with a joyful fraternal agape, strengthening the bonds of fellowship and unity.
