Bishop began his pastoral visit to San Jose Centre, Sitimi on 17th March, 2025 with Holy Eucharistic celebration at St. Anthony Church Yangsekeyu village. After the Mass and a fruitful interaction with the faithful, the delegation returned to San Jose Church, Sitimi, where another Eucharistic celebration was held.
A short felicitation program followed the Mass, during which the faithful expressed their joy and gratitude for the Bishop’s visit. After the program, the entire community gathered at the Church Treasurer’s house for a common meal, fostering fellowship and unity among the parishioners.
In the afternoon, the Bishop met with the Parish Pastoral Council members, who shared their concerns and gratitude. In response, Bishop thanked the priests and community leaders for their dedication and explained the significance of the Parish Pastoral Council in strengthening the spiritual and administrative life of the parish. He also raised concerns about the declining student enrollment in the school and advised the community to encourage families to have more children for a sustainable future.
Following the meeting, Bishop, accompanied by the catechist and priests, visited the homes of the Fathers and Sisters who hail from Sitimi. In the evening, he took a tour around the campus to assess the land and infrastructure of the parish. He also met with the Parish Priest and reviewed the various documents of the Centre.
On 17th March 2025, after the morning Mass and breakfast, Bishop visited the school, where he was warmly welcomed by the staff and students. The students presented a variety of performances, including welcome songs, dances, and speeches. Addressing the gathering, Bishop encouraged the students to strive for excellence in their studies and faith. He also held a separate meeting with the teachers, attentively listening to their concerns and motivating them to continue their dedicated service in educating the children.
