Bishop made his pastoral visit to Shalom Rehabilitation Centre Chümoukedima on 9th March 2024. Fr. Joe Mariadoss along with the sisters, counselors and the inmates welcomed Bishop and introduced each of the inmates and staff to Bishop. Bishop then wished Fr. Joe Mariadoss a happy belated birthday and Sir. Neli Joseph a happy birthday and prayed for all before the lunch. After the lunch the community organized a felicitation programme in the hall. Mr. Neli Joseph was the host of the programme and Fr. Joe Mariadoss the Director of Shalom warmly welcomed Bishop and everyone for the gathering. The inmates also presented melodious special songs and shared their life testimonies. Bishop addressed the gathering and encouraged the inmates to always remain determined and strong to overcome any evil or weaknesses. After the felicitation programme, Bishop met all the staff in the Director’s office. Bishop also went around the house to see the possibilities for future developments.
