Rev. Deacon Phikuto Xavier Kasho SDB was ordained priest at St. Francis of Assisi Church Lazami on 28th December 2022 by Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, the Bishop of Kohima, Nagaland. He is the 8th Sema priest to be ordained and the 5th from Lazami village proper. The newly ordained priest surrendered himself for the service of humanity with the theme: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” – Philippians 4:13.
St. Paul Church – Chiechama, under St. Dominic Savio parish Chiephobozou scaled the golden year on 17th December 2022. Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, the Bishop of Kohima was the main celebrant. He was accompanied by Priests from the region and also from beyond. The august gathering had people from all walks of life who attended the Holy Eucharist.
St. Xavier Parish – Jalukie scaled the golden milestone on 4th December 2022.
