New Family Welcomed into the Catholic Church at Phuvkiu

Christ King Church, Phuvkiu, joyfully welcomed a new family into the Catholic Church during the Holy Eucharist celebrated on 10th May 2026.

The family of Mr. L. Musangba Hubert, Mrs. Kipila Roseline, and their three children—Azhupu Vincent, Zarihya Zachariya, and Satsuvo Pascal—were formally received into the Catholic faith by Rev. Fr. Jacob Malkias, SAC, Centre-Incharge of Christ King Church, Phuvkiu.

Their reception into the Church was the fruit of the dedicated efforts and prayers of the local Catholic community and the priests serving in the village. Over a period of more than three months, the family faithfully attended Sunday Masses, underwent catechetical instruction, learned the prayers of the Church, and deepened their understanding of the Catholic faith and its teachings.

The occasion was marked by great joy and thanksgiving as parishioners warmly welcomed the family into the Catholic community. As a sign of fellowship and acceptance, members of the congregation greeted them with flowers and handshakes following the Eucharistic celebration.

The community expressed profound gratitude to God for guiding the family on their faith journey and bringing them into full communion with the Catholic Church. The faithful rejoiced in witnessing this important spiritual milestone and pledged their continued prayers and support for the family.
