St. Peter’s Parish Kiphire Presbytery Blessing: it was blessed by Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil the bishop of Kohima and was inaugurated by Shri. John Tsulise the DC, of Kiphire, on 21^st of December 2023. The St. Peter’s Parish community had three days annual retreat starting from 19^th Dec. to 21^st of Dec. 2023. The retreat concluded with the blessing and inauguration of the new presbytery. Rev. Dr. James Thoppil mentioned that it was his main concern for him to build a presbytery for his priests to stay as soon as possible because he can’t bear to see his priest staying without proper place. In the program Rev. Fr. Philip Magh the parish expressed his gratitude to bishop for his generosity and support in successfully building the new presbytery. He also specially mentioned the benefactors from Germany who generously sponsored financially for the construction of the presbytery. He also thanked all the people who contributed in constructing the building especially the workers and the Parishioners who were ever ready to lend their helping hands when labours are required.
